What are Posts:

When you’re writing a regular ‘news’ entry, you write a post.

Posts are entries that display in reverse chronological order on your home page. Posts usually have comments fields beneath them and are included in your site’s RSS feed.

Creating a Post:

1. Log in to your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard).
2. Click the ‘Posts‘ tab on the left hand side of the dashboard.
3. Click the ‘Add New‘ Sub Tab.
4. Start filling in the blanks.
5. When you are ready, click ‘Publish‘.

1. Log in to your Administration Panel (Dashboard).
2. Click the ‘+‘ tab on the top of the dashboard.
3. Click the ‘Post’ Sub Tab.
4. Start filling in the blanks.
5. When you are ready, click ‘Publish‘.

Once the post is complete it can be viewed by clicking ‘View Post‘ located at the top of the dashboard.

If further edits are needed on the page, choose the post and perform the desired edits and click ‘Update‘ located on the right hand side of the dashboard.
